With the restaurant opening in 2002, Fabio Giacobello and BEHF Architects successfully implemented their clear, timeless architectural and gastronomic concept.

To this day, Fabios has retained and further refined its timeless architectural concept. With the refurbishment of Fabios Bar by architect Alberto von Bach, ALBERTONI Architektur° Design, Fabio Giacobello has now brought Milan to Vienna. Twelve-Meters of silk wallpaper, hand-painted by the Milanese artist duo MISHA, vividly express a unique Italian esprit. With this refurbishment, Fabio Giacobello remains true to his vision: a taste of Italy with international standards.

During the summer months, the terrace transforms into a Milanese green oasis. The unique combination of modern terrace architecture, Mediterranean cuisine, dense greenery and the scent of fresh herbs expresses a true Italian attitude to life. With a view of the most exclusive stores in Vienna, guests can enjoy the feeling of peace and privacy. Whether it’s time for coffee, aperitivo, lunch, dinner or cocktails – Vienna’s most beautiful terrace invites you to linger at any time of day.

FABIO Giacobello

Born in Milan, Fabio Giacobello graduated from the Meran School of Hotel Management. His gastronomic career led him from Germany to France as well as England and the USA. In 1995, Fabio Giacobello opened Cantinetta Antinori in Vienna as its managing director, followed by the restaurants Novelli, a Tavola and Palais Kinsky. In 2002, he finally fulfilled his dream of opening his own restaurant.
